LETTERPRESS PROJECTS
I took a letterpress course to learn about setting wood and metal type, and exploring composition through layers of colors and typographic forms. Both projects were collaborative. In the first project, we each made a composition of random letterforms and layered them to create a new composition. For the second project, we wrote haiku about ourselves and a classmate and then chose a photo and typographic composition to match the message. All prints were bound into books.
